- Centella, also known as Kotu Gola or Meadow Tiger (as wounded wild animals, particularly tigers, roll among its leaves to speed up skin healing), is a medicinal plant belonging to the Apiaceae family native to the Asian continent but now widely found in India and widely used in phytotherapy for its Beneficial properties on blood circulation.

Centella Mother Tincture
is rich in important substances such as triterpene saponins,(asiaticoside, oxysiaticoside, bramoside, centelloside), essential oil(vellarin), flavonoids, phytosterols, tannins, mineral salts, and sugars that work in synergy with each other.
- Usually the mother tincture is made with alcoholic maceration of officinal herbs, alcohol and water for a certain period of time (20-40 days). However, to make the product also suitable for children and pregnant women , there are also Alcohol-Free Mother Tinctures , made with a mix of Water and Glycerin as solvents.
