• Our Non-alcoholic Mother Tincture of Ribes Nigrum is obtained from the leaves which are rich in diterpenes, triterpenes, and polyphenols, as well as flavonoids (especially myrcetin, kaempferol, and quercetin), essential oil, tannins, and diuretic and blood-purifying active ingredients that are useful in ridding the body of toxins and excess cholesterol, and from the fruits which are rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, iron and other minerals, such as copper, manganese, magnesium and potassium; they also contain flavonoids, substances active against inflammation, and anthocyanins, which protect blood vessels.

• Usually the mother tincture is made with alcoholic maceration of officinal herbs, alcohol and water for a certain period of time (20-40 days). However, to make the product also suitable for children and pregnant women , there are also Alcohol-Free Mother Tinctures , made with a mix of Water and Glycerin as solvents.
